Q4 2023 Android Fitness App Trends in Brazil: Sensor Tower Data Insights

As the year 2023 came to a close, Sensor Tower's latest data provided an overview of the fitness and weight loss app category's performance on the Android platform in Brazil for the fourth quarter. This report delves into the trends surrounding the top five applications in this sector.

Strava: Run, Bike, Hike, managed by US-based Strava Inc., showed a marked increase in revenue towards the end of the quarter, moving from $19K in the last week of September to approximately $29K by the year's end. Downloads saw a slight decline from 47K in the last week of September to 46K in the final week of December. Meanwhile, weekly active users peaked at 805K in late October and reached a high of 884K in the final week of December.

Home Fitness Coach: FitCoach by WELLTECH APPS LIMITED, based in Cyprus, experienced fluctuations in revenue, with a noticeable dip in mid-November to $4K and a recovery to $6K by the quarter's end. The app's downloads peaked at 3.7K in early October, followed by a significant jump to 5.2K in the last week of December. Active users showed an increasing trend from 20K in late September to 25K at the end of December.

Ornitorenk Dij. Hiz A.Ş's Kompanion Intermittent Fasting saw its revenue grow steadily from $6K to $7.7K throughout the quarter. Downloads reached their highest at 31K in late October, with a notable spike to 34K in the final week of December. Weekly active users also followed an upward trajectory, starting at approximately 73K in late September and peaking at 114K by the year's end.
